First Factory Job

My first actual factory work was a summer job at a generator mfg company,
www.gillettegenerators.com It was my first full 40 hour a week experience. Since it was summer I could work in the day time and enjoyed again learning how these systems were made and operated. We would assemble the rotors and stators, run the winding machine, hot dip the items that needed it, I learned to weld here and did some painting of the finished units. It was a very rewarding job, I enjoyed the income and especially soaked up all the knowledge I was getting. When school started back up I had to quit the job, they did not have any late shift work, I would have loved to keep working there.
