2nd Job

I got my first hourly paid job,when I was 14, there was a gas station on Napanee street, the owner hired me to come in and clean the service bays, The plans were that if I did a good job he would have other work for me and eventually train me on working on the cars there. That was very intriguing me I had already been working a cars a little and liked the idea of learning from a professional mechanic. I went in with buckets and rags and cleaned many years of grease and soot off the walls of the garage. It really looked impressive and the owner was very pleased with my work. Unfortunately the owners health was not well and he closed the station down shortly after this due to those health issues.
